WHAT IS TANDEM SKYDIVING?
During a Tandem Skydive, you will be harnessed to a certified and experienced jump master. You will take a short training session before taking an airplane ride to an altitude of around 10,000-15,000 feet.
Once at altitude, you and your jump master will jump out of the plane together and freefall for around 30 to 70 seconds before the parachute is deployed. During the parachute ride down, you will have the opportunity to steer the parachute and take in the views of the surrounding area. After a 5-7 minute ride under the parachute, you will land on the ground with your jump master.
Skydive without the need for extensive training – only a 15 minute briefing is required as it is the instructor who opens and lands the parachute.
Tandem skydiving is open to pretty much anyone as long as you are aged 16+ and weigh less than 110kg.
We offer an optional outside video and photo package, from handycam option which is a camera used on the wrist of your tandem skydive instructor, or with an external cameraflyer.

Your Tandem Skydiving Algarve Tips
Arrive early: Make sure to arrive at the skydiving center well before your scheduled jump time to complete any necessary paperwork and to receive a thorough briefing on what to expect during the jump.
Dress appropriately: Wear comfortable, athletic clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Avoid baggy clothing or anything that could potentially get tangled in the equipment.
Stay calm: Tandem skydiving is a safe and exhilarating activity, but it can be nerve-wracking for first-time jumpers. Try to stay calm and trust in the experience of your jump master. Remember to breathe and enjoy the experience.
Listen to the instructor: Your jump master will give you detailed instructions on what to do and when to do it during the jump, make sure you are paying attention and following the instructions.
Take a video or photos: Most skydiving centers offer to take videos or photos of your experience, this is a great way to capture the memories and share them with friends and family.

Can I take part in a Tandem Jump?
- Minimum age 16 – parental consent required for 16/17. Read this note: Those aged, from 16 to 17 travelling without a parent present will require notarised consent from both parents if applicable.
- Maximum weight 100kg (220lbs/15.7stone) fully clothed.
- Skydiving requires a basic and reasonable amount of fitness to take part.
- If you do a last minute booking maybe we must need to make some adjustments. Free cancellation with full refund up to 72h hours before the start of the activity. No refunds available for bookings with less than 72h to skydive.
Bring comfortable clothing and trainers – If you don’t have with you, we provide.
We do not guarantee group tandem jumps!
